Can you help me prove that using video online is a better marketing tool than traditional text ads?
I am trying to convince some people that incorporating video advertisements and testimonials is far more effective than flat, dull text ads. A picture is worth a thousand words, right? Somewhere, I have read results from some tests or Surveys which confirmed that a video has a higher click thru and conversion rate, but I cannot find that source now that I need it. HELP!?!
I wouldn’t be on it. Not until high speed internet is more readily available. I think you’ll find most SEO advise to avoid use of video on websites if possible. Most people’s computers and/or internet connections simply cannot handle the download fast enough, and the average consumer just isn’t that patient.
Had a group of persons been MADE to watch a video ad, and a see a print ad, I’m sure the video ad would be more effective. The problem is, more effective with a fraction of the people being patient enough for it to download just isn’t effective. lol.
