What survey should I do to find out what people know about alcohol and it’s affects?

I have to do a science project, and we need to do a survey on what people know about alcohol and it’s affects. What should I ask? Should I ask more than one question?

I hope this helps. Use it to make your own questions up.
Don’t copy word for word that would be cheating.

1. Alcohol helps you to see in the dark. True or false?

False! Alcohol actually impairs your night vision by up to 25%. This can have seriousconsequences when you’re on your way home after a night out, particularly if you’re on your own or traveling on dark streets. Always make sure you get home safely, either by booking a taxi or, if you must walk home, by traveling with friends.

2. Larger breasts await male heavy drinkers. True or false?

True! Years of heavy drinking damage the liver’s ability to break down the female sex hormone, oestrogen and higher levels of oestrogen encourage the body to grow bigger breasts, making heavy drinking men more likely to develop man breasts.

3. Cigarettes and alcohol increase the risk of oral cancer by 38 times. True or false?

True! Alcohol makes it easier for cancer-causing chemicals in tobacco smoke to enter cells in the throat and mouth by drying them out. For non-smokers, consuming alcohol is the biggestrisk factor for cancers of the mouth and throat.

4. Almost two thirds of house fires are linked to alcohol. True or false?

True! In 2003, over 60% of house fires in Scotland where people died were linked with people who had been drinking. Drunken people forget to turn the grill off, forget to put the fireguard up and drop lit cigarettes, which in the worst cases can result in death.

5. Drinking in rounds helps you control how much you drink. True or false?

False! Drinking in rounds can make it more difficult to control how fast and how much you drink.Sixty five per cent of Scots said they found it difficult to control how much they drank when drinking in rounds and almost a third of Scottish drinkers admitted to taking another drink justbecause their friends were drinking, even if they didn’t want one.Surprised by the results?
